is there much difference in quality compared to the CD? They say vinyl is a completely different experience and you pick up things you cant on a CD?

whats ur fave song from the LP?
 
One thing said for vinyl - and I completely agree - is that it has a "warmer" sound. Especially with jazz, and classic rock sounds. The occasional nicks and cracks only add to this for me.

RE: Ram - I barely know it, tell you the truth. Only this thread reminded that it's buried underneath a stack of vinyl in the corner. I should pull it out and give it a spin! However, I do remember liking "Uncle Albert / Admiral Halsey" - a bit foggy now, though.

McCartney's 1st solo album, "McCartney", is a beauty though. You should look out for that one.

Yes I have all the albums on CD. The albums McCartney and RAM were indifferently recieved when they came out but over time many critics hail them as great albums, personally RAM is his best album. Would you check out his latest album? its a ripper unlike anything hes done before
