I had a very eventful first day of the new year today. There was a bush fire less than a kilometre away from my house. There would have been at least 200 tourists over the day out the front of my house watching it until the Police closed the road. I was evacuated from my house but back now and all is good, except for the absolute stench of the smoke. All I have left to say is good work CFS, especially since they're volunteers.

Also. Diff topic. Some old fart dropped my iPhone last night. Wouldn't switch on. So I took it home ( party was next door) and chucked in the chord to charge. To find that before it was dropped it was around 30% and it was now. 0 and charging. Is that some kind of safety mechanism.
