It's pretty good.

Staying at a decent hotel with pool etc. so I've got things to do. A lot of signs of the terrible of some places. The government's opened it up a bit more and it's certainly a more tourist friendly place than the Lonely Planet describes it as. There's certainly more beggars and the like than vietnam but they don't seem to be as pushy.

Heading over to Laos in a few days which should be good This whole South East Asian expierence has really opened my eyes up to a part of the world I didn't know much about.
