I don't think it would be an issue if they posted designs in threads were the designs weren't going to be made. That would be ideal. But if he has an account on BF and wants his/her brand to get a bit more exposure why not let them? If he hadn't included logos and contact details we wouldn't know the difference.
 
It's certainly an intriguing development. Both Willo and Craegus have made valid points, but at the moment I have a similar argument to Willo's. If he/they just want to post some designs, and not get them made, I don't have much of a problem with it, but if in the case of Stockers' thread, and they have their design chosen, I could definitely see a bit of an uproar.

I agree with this and Willo completely.

However that is currently not the case, the only 2 threads that have been posted in are for actual guernseys to be made (the APFA and UWA threads), not any of the "just for fun" competitions.

If they were to post "just for fun" (KOTW, AGOTW, etc.) I would have no problem with it at all.

Just a quick update craegus's design was used for our sids & kids event as cat atttack's was too difficult. Twp r super busy atm so im thinking of doing 1 of 2 things.


1 when i get them giving them to sids & kids to sell at another auction.

2. Sell & donate all funds to sids & kids victoria.


What would they be worth? Im thinking sids will get more later on down the track at one of their auctions
 
If its a comp like that it should be allowed, the guy running the comp wants the best possible result and should be given that, if they start entering KOTW, AGOTW or Teamworks (what happened to those comps?) then that's not on.

My opinion is exactly the opposite. So what if they enter KOTW? Those comps are for glory! It's not hurting anyone's dreams, businesses etc. Let's say the design company (who for this hypothetical also produces guernseys) enters a TWP comp - and by chance they happen to win - would they get their guernsey made up by TWP or themselves? As if they would want to sacrifice business.

It's a little hard to get my point across but I hope you understand what I mean (Craegus should too) :)

Pretty easy when you walk into the head coaching job at the best team since the Brisbane 01 - 04 team.

No doubt he did an exceptional job last year but the test will come this year, and next year and the year after that, when his team is not so good.

Just seeing him in the press-conference after the game on Friday, I have my doubts.

I think Brad is a great coach as well.

On the topic of recent players not making great coaches (i.e Voss/Ratten/Primus/Buckley/Hird/Hardwick), how can you possibly make a judgment on their coaching abilities this early on, especially guys like Hird, Primus and Buckley in their 2nd/3rd year of coaching.

So far, yes. But we're only 8 Rounds in. I think Adelaide will be like the the 2011 Essendon, start strong and then drop off mid season...
 
Miami will go past Boston in 5, disappointed that the Pacers probably won't get through but hey, Miami are just a better team, lets face it.

Will be a rip-snorter of a Finals series though!

Agree with that as well. Another soft draw to begin with, then when bodies get tired, injuries occur, and opponents become stronger, they will deteriorate. Just like last year.
