Steps to changing avatar:

1) Change avatar.
2) Wait 10 minutes.
If it hasn't changed by 10 minutes then proceed to step 3.
3) Clear cache.
If it hasn't changed after that, rinse and repeat from step 2).

Where I'm from "St." is an abbreviation for "Saint" and "St" doesn't spell anything, so the proper ways here are spelled out (e.g., "Saint Louis", which is acceptable but not used as frequently) or else abbreviated (e.g., "St. Louis"), but never with the first and last letter and no period.

So, pet peeves aside, your way of spelling is the only one that's wrong where my computer is.
