I can't drink vodka anymore - worst hangover I ever had was after a night of drinking vodka shots followed by sucking on a slice of lemon covered in coffee.

It was a Russian cruise ship though so at least the vodka was cheap. Real cheap.

Now that is a strange mix - coffee and lemon

How good are retro games??

Just finished my holiday work at an accounting firm and have a week to burn before going back to Perth for uni.

Busted out the playstation and have been wasting away the hours on Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Shane Warne 99' and Demolition Derby II.

Ahh the memories...

I've had to semi retire from playstation games.

I used to be able to beat my two sons easily and would have to "let" them win occasionally to keep them interested.

Then I used to have to play properly and would actually lose to them from time to time.

They then used to beat me consistently.

But when my ten year old said to me "C'mon Dad one more game - I'll give you a chance". Well that was it.

My oldest son a first dan balck belt in Tae Kwon Doe and is already taller than me, so I'm running out of time before he can beat me up for real.

Semi retirement... thats not the attitude.

Show some spirit and take them on before the arthiritis really kicks in:D

Woke up this morning to the sight of a 4ft snake coiled up in the bottom of our bird cage, happily digesting one of our budgies.

He then got a rather rude awakening of his own at the end of a shovel.

Subsequent investigations have revealed it to be a type of python native to the Broome area. Given it was a python I probably shouldn't have killed it - but it was likely to come back for the remaining four and I don't like snakes.

Vale the budgie

How the heck did the snake get in there anyway??

The bird cage is on legs and the bottom is a slide out tray - must have come up one of the legs and onto the tray somehow.

There was a noticeable bulge in its body where the bird obviously was. Kinda funny really.

Vodka and Redbulls nice people, but with the drink V its better. Or with Pepsi Max :p

Actually it taste better by itself followed by a mouthful of water
V is the best of the energy drinks. Mother tastes like crap.

Yeah, real tough guy aren't I.:o

Didn't know it at the time obviously and with the benefit of hindsight should have let it go on it's way perhaps.

I wasn't too keen on it hanging around and picking off another bird though.

Fair enough....if you aren't too sure on your snake ID it is better to play it safe.

Couldn't you have called Malcolm D??;):D

i guess this question is random, so, im coming to perth on thursday and am staying in Hillarys (not sure thats how its spelt), how far from subi is it and can i catch a train to subi oval for the praccy match saturday????

Also, anything else i must do while in perth?

thanks.

Hillarys is a fair way from Subi - about 20 -25 minutes by car.

You would need to catch a bus from Hillarys to get the train and then change trains in Perth to get to Subiaco.

Honestly can't think of anything off the top of my head that I would consider to be a must do in Perth.:o
