Did anyone else hear Carrie Bickmore's slip of the tongue last night?
They were talking about some beaver's poo in the US has been used for certain ice-cream flavourings as it has a vanilla based smell and flavour.

Carrie went on to say that she has lived in the US and to this day had never smelt a good smelling beaver. :eek:

I've been to the strippers before. With executives from work too! lol (we were pissed as and it was after our work christmas party!) good night though! :D

Last time I went was with a mate after round 1 we walked from the G to a place near southern cross station and stayed up all night to catch the first train home.

It was good Friday the next day we didn't plan for that. After having 3 hours sleep for a 32 hour day we decided to give up and rang my mum for a lift at 6.30 that morning....

Lucky she was happy to get us only time we have ever had to call her for a bail out
 
I remember those days, calling mum in the wee hours of the morning, "Mum, we've spent all our money and have no way to get home :("

"OK love, i'll be there soon"

hahaha

or

"Mum, we've spent all our money and have no way to get home. Can you please pay for the cab when I get there :("

"OK love, see you soon"

Yeah, my mum was and still is the best! I was very lucky :D

I don't live at home anymore and she still drops me into the city if I ask her to.
 
My mum has always said she would prefer to get up at 4am and get me knowing that i'm safe rather than walk home. Never been an issue. I'd also do it for any of my friends that needed it no questions asked (provided i was sober myself of course) :P

Pretty much the reason why I do it for my mates. Even though I use to walk home a lot, plenty of crazy shit happened and not everyone is a big, scary and ugly enough to get themselves out of such situations.


To me it was just character building. REAL TALK!

I've walked home myself on tons of occasions as well, either being too drunk to know to call or just not feeling like interrupting mum. Most of the time its no worries, but as you've also mentioned there have been a few potentially bad situations. Lucky that i'm fast like a rabiit, or on 2 specific occasions it would have been not good, and i have my acid tongue to blame primarily... Small town is generally no worries, but when stuff happens generally no one around to hear you scream!

I'm too small and pretty for that too happen to! :D

The one and only time I rang my mum to come and pick me up it was about 3am.
She picked up the phone and I was only about 15 minutes by car away, but f....d if I was going to walk up the side of a mountain that is the Dandenong Ranges. She told me I was bloody stupid or something along those lines and to catch a cab home. Rang a cab from a 7/11 - cost me about $20 to get home, and then passed out in the laundry when I finally got inside the house.
