Rate Daniel Wells with a draft pick

When Wells starts putting the performances on the park consistently instead of North supporters talking him up because he was a number 2 pick in 2002 then you can have a go at my statement. Not suggesting he is not hugely talented but injuries plus a lack of living up to that talent means Cyril Rioli is definitley streaks ahead of Wells atm. Davis was AA last year...sooo

I would personally struggle to give a decent draft pick to a 26 year old that hasn't (apparently) reached his full potential yet. I voted 11-20 though because while not a great player, he is a good player.

Well those two players have put runs on the board. Leon Davis was AA..when has Wells even come close? Cyril Rioli is widely regarded as a up and coming superstar plus he was a premiership player.

North supporters need to stop talking of his talent and see what he has actually dished up. Talent does not mean shit if you don't put the performances down. Has he even won a b&f? Enough said

Definitely has equal talent to the other two players I mentioned but talent does not mean shit...see Richard Tambling who was one of the most talented players to come out of NT but is a fair plodder.

Why is Wells being compared to Davis and Rioli? Wells is a genuine midfielder, Davis is a streaky forward and Rioli has only recently been movied to the midfield. Wells at the moment is also much better then Davis and is considerably younger

Leon Davis was 28 when he made the AA team. Had he made it at the same age as Wells is currently? Has Leon Davis won a Copeland trophy? Enough said.

So Rioli is better than Wells because he was drafted to the right club at the right time?
