Each year for the NBA/AFL/NFL Drafts there is a draft class of all the potential superstars coming into the league. The SFA doesn't work like that however, anyone can join the league at any stage during the season. Today however I will be bundling together the posters who joined in the same season to create SFA 'draft classes' and I will rate each draft class on the quality and longevity of the posters they produced.
Season 10 - Zainta, BILC, tim_saints, Breeno, pacemaker, cooney, Rojo_jnr, Grockadoc,
We start the Ratings with Season 10 which is probably the weakest class, as expected due to it being 7 seasons ago and not many posters are left. Zainta won the EKA Medal in a standout first year then faded away into the background. BILC was regarded as one of the best posters in the league during Season 13/14 but has been gone for a while. The infamous pacemaker is well known for all the wrong reasons and I haven't even heard of Breeno or Rojo_jnr. The only people left from this class are cooney the king of the 'go team' one liners and Grockadoc a solid yet fairly vanilla poster.
Awards: 1x EKA Medal (duh), 1x Deestroy Medal, 1x Mobbenfuhrer Medal, 6x Premiership, 1x SFA Captain, 7x All-SFA Appearances
Rating: Despite being in my opinion the weakest class of the lot they have won a fair few awards collectively, even a renowned Mobbs Medal. 6/10
Season 11 - Reardo, Freakie, Frothies McVeigh, Big Bad Buddy, Bipolarbear, Bucketss, ShaunDuggan, Gibbsy
Now we go from one of the weakest to one of the stronger ones. Just read the first two and last two names. Reardo, Freakie, ShaunDuggan and Gibbsy. All of these posters are very highly rated around the league and are still going strong to this day. Frothies McVeigh and Big Bad Buddy were both more than solid posters in their day very much like Bipolarbear and Bucketss are now. What this class lacks in sheer numbers it trumps in longevity. 75% of the mentioned posters are still contributing today.
Awards: 1x EKA Medal (duh), 1x TFLUA-Tiger Award, 5x Premiership, 1x Premiership Captain, 2x SFA Captains, 14x All-SFA Appearances
Rating: This class hasn't been the most successful out of the lot on the field but it has numerous quality contributors off the field. The only knock on it is that it's a small draft class. 9/10
Season 12 - Gus, TheTommyGun, Juggalo Balla, StFly, Easty, 3KZ Is Football, fightingfury88, fumbler, saintkildaman, Eth
Season 12 produced a very strange mix of posters, to say the least. Gus had a great first season but was another one to fall to the 'EKA curse,' while TheTommyGun was a good troll (just ask him) and somewhat entertaining during his tenure. The ever-controversial Juggalo Balla went on to be a captain, as did Eth, Easty, StFly and fumbler. While saintkildaman, fightingfury88 and 3KZ Is Football are all still alive and kickin'. The cream of the crop being regarded as one of the best in the league today, he's a captain and has a wide array of awards to add to his already impressive resume.

Rating: As I stated above, you really do get variety in this class. 5 of the posters went on to become captains which is very impressive and shows the leadership qualities this class brought into the league. 8/10
Season 13 - WAG, Claypigeon, Logger, Gee Dub, HARPSichord, MD, Mooch, TheJet, Wonaemirri33, tigland, TheDoctor11, Gentlemen
The first three listed posters are all phenomenal in their own right, all have had a huge impact on the league. MD was a bit of a late bloomer but he has really came into his own as of late. Gee Dub is best known for his Power Rankings thread but is also a solid contributor all-around. Mooch, tigland, TheDoctor11 and Gentlemen are all quiet achievers while Wonaemirri recently had a career revival. None of these posters who debuted in Season 13 have been as controversial as

Rating: Season 13 is a draft class that provided solid contributors with every poster introduced to the league, the one knock on the class is that it doesn't have one poster who has taken the proverbial 'next step' to become elite. 8.5/10
Season 14 - TheHalfBack, WiseGuySam, Deddy, A Bit High, Andonis1997, Filthy Sanchez, PTizzle, Rhodesy_Blues, ThePuppetMaster, Quivorir, DemonJim
Season 14 is where it begins to show how hard it is to judge the classes until they have had time to find their feet in the league all of the ratings from this point on could be very different in a few seasons, also awards are more scarce. Anyways, WiseGuySam is one of the very best posters in the game today, he can do it all and is the captain of the Gold City Royals. Filthy Sanchez was also a captain, and the TheHalfBack had a good rookie year before tapering off. DemonJim, A Bit High, Andonis1997, Rhodesy_Blues and ThePuppetMaster all have the required attributes to be very good posters. PTizzle and Quivorir may or may not be alive I'm unsure, and then there's me.

Rating: These last three draft classes could really be anything but I have to judge on current and previous production. WiseGuySam is elite and Season 14 produced a host of key posters for the respective teams in the league. Overall 7.5/10
Season 15 - pantskyle, BoshtrichBurger, Nuffers, Karnezis_13, lanky_wes, Mr Zero, PooMonkey, TheFreshBanana, akkaps
We can thank season 15 for giving us pantskyle and BoshtrichBurger who both took to the league like fish to water and also TheFreshBanana who is a very underrated poster in my opinion. Nuffers, lanky_wes, PooMonkey, Karnezis_13 and akkaps all are solid without standing out while Mr Zero was good for a laugh (not in a good way) during his short tenure in the league.
Awards: 1x EKA Medal (duh), 3x Premiership, 1x All-SFA Appearance
Rating: Like the previous season's class this one is very much in the air. I don't see enough quality posters from Season 15's class being around in a few seasons so that lowers the rating. 6.5/10
Season 16 - Uncle_Leo, FootyPie32, TheFilthWizard, Igloo, Dannnnnnnnn, Danoz, DeeWong6996, Marlowe, Noobz0r, Smartys Power, Schulzenfest, Danger in Texas, spookism
I wasn't going to rate Season 16 but due to the influx of posters that are key members to teams in Season 16 due to expansion I didn't have much choice. Danx10 came out all guns blazing but cooled off before completely freezing and disappearing. Uncle_Leo is the reigning EKA Medalist after a great rookie season. TheFilthWizard, Igloo, Danoz, Marlowe, FootyPie32, Noobz0r, Smartys Power, Schulzenfest, Danger in Texas and spookism (yes no need to whip out your favourite gif) all have the makings of become top 20 posters in the league. I believe this class could become the SFA equivalent of the 2003 NBA Draft Class.
Awards: 1x EKA Medal (duh), 6x All-SFA Appearances.
Rating: 6x All-SFA Appearances in one season is hugeeee. This class has a whole lot of potential but as Kwame Brown has shown potential isn't what makes you great so the rating will be a bit lower than it could be at the end of this season even. 8.5/10
