Ratten/ Eddie Betts

Eddie was ok in patches last night kicking 3 goals
but. Why doesnt he go into the middle. It worked against st kilda, we get smashed in the middle with stevens and possibly gibbs in their who dont have burst speed, and eddie betts is sitting in the forward line doing nothing as we get smashed in the middle.
We needed Eddie in the Clearances, we needed eddie in the middle, but ratten refuses to make changes, lets get garlett or yarran in thei ras a forward pocket and play eddie in the middle please!. I know where i think he would be more effective, in the bloody middle!

It was the absolute downlight of Ratten's lack of coaching last night - I kept on thinking he is going to throw him in like he did against the Saints

Has me bemused. He mightn't have the fitness to play long patches there but surely he handle 5 minutes a quarter, or 10 when we need to change it up? His positioning is brilliant.
