I dont think there can be any doubt the comp is fixed to a largeish extent.

Take a look at the last 5 premierships for example.

4 of those went to clubs who got extra special privilleges above all other teams.


I think we can all see Didak's intent in that pic, and likewise we can see the AFL's intent from the MRP... they want Collingwood to play as many finals as possible.

Add to that their 18 Melbourne based games a year. Was interested to hear Grant Thomas spew about that on On the Couch last night. I think the Scum are being highlighted a bit lately and might get interesting with Nine not getting any 2007 coverage. The spotlight may just shift.
