Its a pity "After The Game" isn't around at the moment because he would win the "Tool of the Week" by a mile.
His effort at the members information night/AGM was a disgrace. Fair enough he copped some abuse, but his responses only provoked members. Sarcasm and sympathy stories don't go down too well with most of us. Not to mention he thinks the club does not want members who sign up six weeks into the season. A club like Melbourne should take all the members they can get.
He is a businessman, not a football club CEO, and he should shut his mouth about football topics. And Bev O'Connor should learn to do something with possession herself rather than handballing questions across to other people.
Thought the highlight was when Ellis said he tells the truth and the room laughed at him. A poor reflection on how he's perceived by members I reckon. Of course, he was the one who promised we'd make a profit this year.
