Don't under estimate chris phillips, his no hack, his developement is on schedual and will probably have to do it the hard way by choosing or being invited to a VFL team at the end of this year - IT DEPENDS ON HIS ENTHUSIASM AND LOVE FOR THE GAME, a lesson he can learn from dedicated AFL players. Chris has the skills and ability, now its up to him. ps That "profile" quoted by footyman is out dated (Jan 05),they are boys and are growing, for instance, CHRIS is now 174cm and still growing, and is becoming faster around the ground.

Played footy with chris last year, down at st peters, good bloke, played with the two of them in the rep side for junior footy, chris acts a lot different when not with simon, may have done him well to play somewhere that his brother isnt! jus never seems 100% committed like simon!

The old man does get quite involved.

i agree with kella as i also played footy chris last year at st.peters and trust me he is no hack. i felt last year that he was a lot more of a mature footballer than when i had played against him and when i've seen him play for sandy a couple of times he hasn't been too bad. at the moment simons got the edge on him but hes far and away better than a hack.

Kella,

Where did all of the St peters boys from last year go to play footy?? You had a good side last year didn't you??? Are you still all together at another club??

i'm sure kella will respond but i'll tell you what i know
a few are playing at st.peters u17's again
a few are playing at salesion u19's
about 10 went to oakleigh u19's
the rest are scattered here and there.

we had a real good side last year and it was disappointing for all of us not to be able to keep it together.

hahaha, simon has posted on here in the past you'll find...wouldn't shock if someone else from the family did as well.

honestly they aren't worth all the discussion that you've given them. Simon fools you at the start, but once you see him get caught holding the ball cos he's trying to be a hero, flying for some mark and getting in the way of teammates or spraying it on the full on his left foot from the pocket cos he wants some miraculous goal thats so low percentage its not funny you quickly say "NO THANKS".

VFL reserves material for 2006.

Oh what are the odds this will get boosted up and rammed in my face at draft time? I'll happily congratulate them and eat humble pie if Phillips, Nahas and Clifton are all drafted

Interested footyman you say nahas and co are not your cup of tea but I see Anderson from knights is (draft .com which you do) ok thats fine wouldnt be family by any chance or just a soft spot for him because in my opinion he is not even close to the other 3 or 4 players and wont even get rookie listed

And if he does I will eat humble pie

He's in the "other players", which is not a part of my phantom draft at this point. Many of the names originally placed on the site (of which Ryan Anderson was one) were the result of a brainstorm myself and a couple of others had about a month into this season. Given Anderson was an AIS player and had returned from Ireland, it was appropriate that he be placed in the Footy Draft listings. Once entered, I find it easier to keep their names as "others" rather than delete them and have to re-enter again at a later date. "Others" does not mean they are expected to be drafted after pick 50, merely there are there for both my convenience and for others to see who could be in the mix. That is the reason.

No, he "wont even get rookie listed" as you say, but not by fault of his own. I you'd have bothered to check, Ryan Anderson is bottom age and too young to qualify for rookie listing. :p

Thank you. If you're a fan good luck to ya. We all see things differently, clubs are the same, that's what makes the draft interesting.

a small mind is one that is not clever enough to post something that turns out easy to understand.
Is that all you've got footyman 'you see only the faults and miss the true meaning, you can give all the criticism you like, but you also have to learn to take it - small bored minds like yours continue to be sucked in by mundane ****** for tat crap, get back to what your good at and give constructive criticism; not destructive! And that goes anyone else out (bones) who just wants to see fault in others, i started with good intentions look at all my threads, and im no longer interested in this thread,
