You could see that he was loving his own work, got the eyebrows working overtime.and everything .
Looked a bit like Darth Vader without the helmet
Didn't mind it, bit of levity.in a pretty sterile industry
What do you expect when he is getting paid for a gap year.

I have been trying to find out this morning who is the gimp providing him with the lollies

Poor old SPP, hadn't seen the injury, really rough for him, had been having a great year coming back from the previous injury. Genuinely a bit sad.for the bloke.

Nothing to do with SC, that Rowell tactic of using the umpire to get separation is fine as long as he times it, but he'll end up cleaning an ump up at some stage
They're probably 25k lighter and not bracing for contact, it'll end in tears at some stage.
No dramas with him doing it, but he has to be prepared to cop.his medicine if it goes awry

Sidebar, but do you reckon Ken becomes Voss' assistant?
Guess Voss has to survive that long, not sure he will.

I highly doubt it.

Despite what most of the Victorian media think I don't see any club that would pick him up.

Been going on for years, he's just not very good at it.

Was listening to ABC Grandstand yesterday and they were discussing players use the field umpire to gain separation from their opponent, which I suppose is the reason why the AFL is now starting to clamp down on it if umpire contact is increasing. And yeah umpires are almost always a slighter build and usually aren't bracing for contact.

I'm a goal umpire and sometimes get minor contact from players particularly during set shots when a goal-line touch is happening and I'm trying to get to the right spot to adjudicate. I once got completely blindsided and bowled over which wasn't much fun as a 60 year old!

Traded Bolton to Miller because I thought there was zero chance Roberts would be the sub.

Didn't see Bailey Sniff wasn't playing until half time of that game, and had no bench cover because he's in my midfield and Mani Liddy was unfairly dropped.

Trading Roberts to Pickett. Takes me down to 2 trades, but who cares. Season keeps going from bad to worse anyway.

Tempted to just trade Whitfield in, take Clarkes score and take the hit on Whitfields BE next week.
Roberts will probably lose more cash than Whitfield will drop anyway.
Cue Roberts getting subbed on in the first 5 minutes and scoring 110.....
