Agreed. Our senior playes let us down in the last 10 mins. Difference is most of them let us down all day (gibbs, doc, simmo, krooz).
Kids did nothing to keep us in it. Good or bad.
Crippa and murph did a lot of lifting early

Gotta take heart from that. Some key mistakes by senior players hurt at the end.

Youth showed more signs.

Mostly satisfied with today.

None of our kids were liabilities, which is a huge tick in your first dozen or so games at AFL level.

We were 2 players short all day with Levi and Dennis fouling the hallowed MCG.

Bolton outcoached Goodwin today i reckon too.

Positive day for our future.

Macreadie, Marchbank and Plowman all took super courageous marks in the last quarter.

In the future they'll be match winning efforts.

Green shoots definitely there and can only develop. Youngsters put in the effort. I felt it was some of our seniors who let us down. Also, tackle count a big worry today (in first half they creamed us on tackles inside 50 - haven't seen second half inside 50 tackle count).

Thomas actually played a good game. Cripps was awesome, that tackle on Hogan was a bone cruncher. Noticed Charlie Curnow get one run at a centre bounce and he got the clearance, wonder why we don't give him more chances at it.

definitely our sort of game... choked it up for much of the middle two quarters and only coughed up 86 points. let down by some sloppy stuff late.

Saw some pretty poor efforts from the senior players. They'll come good.
