Please he didn't knock Chapman out he knocked him down. Chapman ran off the ground by himself and was fine to come back on.

Sorry, meant to say that he had a concussion test. He passed that test, so you're right he wasn't knocked out. Straight to tribunal so will see how many weeks he gets.

Instead of "straight to tribunal" he should be given AFL Life Membership for "Services to Football"!!

I suggest Yaz be appointed to CAS for the EFC/WADA appeal as well.

Hardened- Brendan Goddard, um are you sure.

He took a dive when Gibbs went to bump him and then cried to the umpire that he was hit in the face and then had the gall to try and beat up Byrne in the goalsquare...campaigner of a veteran, i agree with
I really meant hardened as in body wise. He's been around a long time and has a seasoned, strong body.

goddard was just rehearsing a scene from 'the movie' thats coming... starring floggard o_O
Goddard in a familiar scene, spitting the dummy and pointing the finger. He did the same with the Gibbs bump, pointed to his jaw claiming a deliberate hit to the face.

Oh well, once a w**ker always a w**ker.

Carlton destroyed Essendon in clearances and contested possessions.. destroyed them...
the same team that beat up n Hawthorn...

now get rid of the lousy ball users - and replace them one by one with better..

It's why the rebuild won't take as long as some think. Just missing some silk.

Do not normally rate Lloyd's media comments. But they were spot on.

Maybe giving to a different audience.

Colyer was brilliant on the day. The specific Cripps criticism was harsh. The Carrazzo critique was spot on.

But the general message of Essendon dominating the loose ball to effect good inside fifties while Carlton dominated contested ball only to fluff attacking play was very accurate.

It was a stange game like that really. You do not see too many like that.

It's ok provided at least 1 is able to hurt the opposition, something Carrots nor Curnow can do at present.
I think Curnow will be dropped this week, and with 3 solid games now under his belt for NB, we might finally see Whiley come in. I think he can fill that role perfectly. Might not be a flat out tagger, but I think he could take someone out of the game, while getting some hard ball and possessions, and be a good user of the ball. Fingers crossed anyway.
