5. Murphy - consisent all day. Put his head down and used the ball well.

4. Gibbs - much the same as Murphy. Used it extremely well, made every disp count

3. Kruezer - Showed his size today, really threw his body around and gd in front of goals.

2. Betts - Performed well. Showed off his freakish abilities.

1. Waite - Again, leather poisonining. Seemed to get the ball nearly every play and used it well.

5. Murphy. Just awesome today. Worth noting he has kicked 9 straight this year.
4. Simpson. Ran all day, and got somewhere back to his best today.
3. Scotland. Great off HB all day. Didn't miss a target IIRC.
2. Kreuzer. What a talent. Two final qtr goals really rounded off his game nicely
1. Gibbs. Quieter day, but still had an influence.

5. Kreuzer
4. Murphy
3. Simpson
2. Houlihan
1. Scotland

Kreuz was outstanding today. His work in the ruck was great, five clearances and two goals. Great game!

Murph has really gone up another gear this year and how's his kicking for goal! Last year I couldn't watch him kick for goal and this year he hasn't missed!

Simmo was brilliant too. His attack on the footy, his gut busting runs and his two beaut goals in the second quarter were outstanding!

Hoops was great as well. Had nearly 30 disposals and set up play all day.

Scotland in the backline adds some much needed experience, a cool head and great disposal, not too mention his run out of defence as well.

Great win boys! It was a real team effort today! :thumbsu::D

MURPHY - Ran all day and did the hard things. Nice disposal .Top game.
KREUZER - Coming of age for the big fella. Went exceptionall well in the ruck duels, but where he really excelled was his input around the ground and forward.
THORNTON - Held the backline together. Was cool under pressure, and made good decisions.
SIMPSON - Quiet early, but came right into it in the second quarter, with his carry and run and set up a lot of forward moves. Back to his best.
WAITE - Good reliable defender creating a lot of run and carry.

Apologies to all the other players who really wanted to win this one for Praatty. Why can't they play like this every week? Great team effort - We did it for Richard.

5 - Murphy (brilliant today and has been all season. Got quieter as the game wore on but was heads and shoulders above anyone else when the game was in the balance)

4 - Kreuzer (battled manfully all day. Only in his second year but he's expected to hold down the second ruck position and is breaking even or better most weeks)

3 - Simpson (return to form for Kade. Was brilliant today and loves to run and carry. Very pleased to see him slot his two)

2 - Houlihan (pure silk. Has been very much maligned but is a very underrated player particularly outside Carlton. Will be improve as the team improves)

1 - Scotland (dropped fo two weeks but came back in and showed his worth. Racks up the pill and is very solid with his disposal)

Another three or four guys right up there as well - very even team performance today. :thumbsu:

5. Murphy - has gone up a level this year & is hurting the opposition more often with his disposal (84% disposal efficiency today).
4. Simpson - did so much hard running today & topped his game off with a couple of goals, something he has struggled with this year.
3. Thornton - Was an absolute general down back today with 27 disposals at 96% efficiency. One of the best games he has played for the club.
2. Kreuzer - Battled well in the ruck, but really hurt the Bulldogs at ground level with 8 contested possessions, 4 inside 50s & 2 goals.
1. Gibbs - used the ball well most of the time today, but let himself down on 2 occasions with missed shots on goal that if nailed would have seen him close to best on ground.

He might not get the Brownlow votes but don't underestimate one C.Judd's performance particulary the first 15-20 mins of the last quarter. His performance today I thought was very good taking into consideration how heavily they tagged and marked him. I still have concerns about the lack of protection for him, again he had to play an 'in under' type role today. Need Hadley or even Bentick back and firing for this role.

5. Murphy - skills have been amazing this year
4. Special K - We have the next Dean Cox on our hands
3. Simpson - during the early part of the game he blew it open
2. Scotland - Does anyone have a better left foot, my god how could he not be in the side

5. Murf
4. Bower - i was going a little shocked nobody had him, until i read further down to see that some have recognised the work he did yesterday.. he was sublime tonight... really great effort... off the ball he worked really hard and when the ball was kicked in long and hard he was their to thump it out of orbit... his composure when he had the ball something tonight... as Mark Reily had said at the start of the season" his still in his shell a little, needs to come out of it to show what he can do" and boy his coming out with a bang
3. Kruz
2. Russell
1. Gibbs

5. Murphy - Clear BOG
4. Kreuzer
3. Simpson
2. Houlihan
1. Carrazzo - Mostly for his great job on Gilbee
