that's special, now you have made some valid points. but those names mentioned are wasting there time in that comp. tell me besides money what would they get out of it?And to say rockbank will become good? that makes me laugh.

Im not saying that Rockbank will definately become good at all, I think that for the league to continue to strengthen then Rockbank needs to strengthen..

What would these players get out of it? I think that they will be able to help build younger players in thier respective sides into fine footballers.. The satisfaction of teaching what you know to someone is somewhat underrated these days.. So the opportunity to bring some of these guys to a higher level of football is a definate draw for these guys.. Why not improve players of all levels if you have the opportunity...?

Could also say that in the RDFL there is a much higher level of mateship within clubs than in other competitions.. People do feel more comfortable in these sides, because they are playing football with thier mates.. Yeah some of them might get some dollars, but they would also be having alot more fun...

Some of you guys are kidding yourselfs. have recently seen a game with riddle and if they are meant to be a good team in your league then the rdfl is the worst comp ive seen. Sorry to burst your ego's

Its not a great competition but its alot better than say the second divisions of the surrounding competitions in the area eg:EDFL,WRFL AND DVFL and those competitions are the alternative for most RDFL clubs.

hello fooz im in a pub sinking down cans and i hear some young kid say that they are back there training and the late mail from a phone call 2 try and confirm any truth 2 this wisper and morgan has shut up shop so where will romsey go from here does that mean that al meldrum might even consider the long haul to a new club i will try and get to the bottom of this issue as its not good for the romsey team there all good mates so i hear

i think by memory i heard a comment saying the side up north are still offering mega bucks as there perths guy fell through and the other adelaide chap took a $5000 sighn on fee and ran but he had already had has clearance in and leage and club will not release the clearance so there got a heap of $$$$$$ left sitting there may be will make more offers

Yeah well that could be true im mates with a guy up there who is connected closley to the club that you refer to. He said that they have plenty of coin and would take any offer seriously if there were more boys wanting to jump on the ban wagon and play good footy up there in a great team. Im thinking of doing just that and play up there. They have Sean Charles playing for them i heard that the social scene is tops to.

Nah just spoke to couple of Kilmore blokes after the game on Saturday. Johnny reckoned he would be back, and said Robbo was a couple of weeks away from returning.

Also, Connellan will be back in the Redbacks jumper soon, if not this week. Not sure if the other Lalbert blokes will return though. Will keep you posted when I know.

its all true they really look after the boys who travel from melb to play up there in nice warm weather like finals footy every week but up in nice motels free alch even spirits mad i say im mates with fisher up there went up a a visit met him in the pub sat night as i had 2 work on sat
he says he loves coaching and the weather the grounds are fantastic
he said lalbert were better on the day

ha ha yeah i went to visit my mate up there one day and played for Lalbert on a permit. we went out that night and the girls love the sporting type from down south there. I could only imagine what goes on up there if you visited all the time.

Romsey's is picture perfect, Lancefield's ground is fantastic except for a sloshy cricket pitch centre. I think Kilmore's ground will be OK, it normally drains pretty well.

kilmore beat sunbury by just over 2 goals, they should have won by 6 or 7 though but the fitness from some of there players coming back from injuries took its toll throughout the game
