Dennis stop bulls..ting everybody,
I will answer this for all to read, I have heard this rumour aswell as others if it is true that would be a major bonus for this club, as we are not travelling too baddly at the moment, if this is true, he has only 10 days untill clearances close, but i will say this, he has not been seen at training, their is no room left in the club budget, i have personally not heard from him, but have heard it from a player, but i have not been presented with a clearance to sign so to me until that happens it's just goss. so if this does happen it will be posted on the rdfl website with all other clearances so until then spread all the rumours you like. See you all later.
Prez.

Geez, you are the prez of the Sunbury Kangaroos and you dont know what is happening from around the club...

Careful with the old comments there prez... Didn't look to me like Dennis said anything out of the ordinary, apart from some innuendo... Dont let any of your comments bite you there... ;)

Have a nice day... :D

Please explain, how is this guy a loose cannon????

Never played with him so pure speculation and hearsay. He supposed to get a bit out of control in social settings. Maybe some Gis. players who played with him (i know they love our thread) can ellaborate.

Kangaroos easy (70+)
Kilmore in a upset under (2 goals)
Riddell won't want to loose 3 in a month (4 Goals)
Macedon only becuase at home if at Rockbank different story (2 goals)
Romsey easy (50 Points)

Kangaroos (120pts) over Lancefield. The Roos performance last week over Rockbank was simply supreme. They defeated Woodend several weeks ago in incredible style and have continued to bounce away since. A really improved unit!

Diggers Rest (40pts) over Kilmore. The blues showed some real heart against the Hawks last week in trying conditions but Diggers are sitting 8-1 and dont look to be heading down anytime soon!:p

Woodend (15pts) over Riddell. A great feeling around hawkland at the moment and a win on the Sunday game at Riddell will make them a very serious contender for this season. James is virtually playing on one leg and his 7gls last week against Romsey all came in the 2nd half. Wazza is in Best n Fairest form for Woodend in the backline and anything less than 5 goals from James will be a win for him and the team

Macedon (56pts) over Rockbank. The bankers have been highly competitive this season in most matches but the Cats have been playing much better than their results have shown. A great bunch of young talented players streaking through from the Under 18 Grand Final years and this match will showcase how talented they really are!

Romsey (70pts) over Centrals. Romsey are flying high from last weeks win over Riddell and a homegame with a packed crowd in possible wet conditions will showcase how well the team is playing!

Thanks for that confirmation "thats special"

Kangaroos to win without even showing up to the game will still outscore lancefield...
Diggers rest to win with a 5 goal lead at the siren
Riddell to get over the line in a close one (2 goals)
Macedon to win (3 goals) but rockbank to give it there all
Romsey to win (30 points)

I would like to refer to previous threads in relation to where the Roos are now and heading in the future.
There is no question, the players named will be back in the very short term if performing(and we know they will)
The Roos now have the depth, both on and off the field to ensure there is no easy ride for anyone and we are, as stated previously not in it for the short term.

Just on the topic of mid-season pick up's, just wondering what the view's form other RDFL and local club's in are on high profile players arriving mid season especially the arrival of Aaron and Ben at the Roos and Gasdon at Riddell. Regardsless of what you may have heard about 'James', it is a massive inclusion to the Kangas line up!

Just wanting to know the pick up's form other clubs and what area's they are hoping to improve in with these new inclusions?

Some names being touted as returners over the past couple of days.. Of course the Kangaroos and Woodend recruits have been mentioned, but apparently Romsey is expecting to see Ryan Connellan return from Lalbert and Riddell is expecting to see Mick Allen return as well as Col Gadsden who is looking to join his brother who has already returned to Riddell..

Some quality footballers returning to this competition.. Its good to see...:thumbsu:

hey applecore mick sammut played for sunbury lions in the rdjfl where he kicked goals and the sunbury lions do not play in the rdfl senior comp we r in the ballarat league so after u finish ur juniors u go to the ballarat league with the 18's that is y u have not seen him in the records...he is doing fine at lions playing a different role more learning accountability in a back pockets role as the forward line is mainly second year players which was the same last year and there was no room for him full time thanks............ also thats special is aaron james the 1 that played for western bulldogs???

As stated above it is official that the clearance has been signed it has been lodged and approved, Last night James was at the roos training and signed the form that i was led to believe was going to happen, but like i stated earlier if there had been no contact or citing it was only rumour.
Too many times i have heard rumours about players coming, got excited only to be let down.

Not much weight behind the riddell rumour old mate , i believe this to be incorrect

not what i have heard bear,
looks like all clubs are not happy with their stocks at the moment there are 4 clubs fighting for 2nd, not to mention centrals and kilmore just out of that contest. I too have heard the riddell rumour, woodend have confirmed they are chasing a few blokles including darko ex league b&f, romsey is rumoured to be getting rhino back and the roos now with the biggest name in the rdfl. Any news from the diggers camp are they still hunting, and what about centrals, they look to have lost a couple, feno has walked and a clearance or 2 have gone in. My call is that the roos will improve even more as they were only lacking a main target providing everything is not based and structured around James. adding james could be the difference from making finals to making a grandfinal, depending on if his head is screwed on right.

I think they are pretty happy with what they have at the moment.Getting a bit late in the season to be changing things too much although you make exceptions for guys like James.Getting a few players back in the next couple of weeks from injury and maybe Jeff Heritage later in the year.Looks like the finals will be a cracker now with Riddell and Kangaroos getting a massive boost.
