Moving house soon and going to upgrade some furniture. Any retail or retail adjacent folk here able to weigh in on whether we're better off taking the current deals on offer or hedging our beds for Black Friday sales end Nov?
I figured worst case if the stuff we like doesn't go on sale again for Black Friday as long as I have documented what it was on sale for I should be able to haggle back to that price when paying cash but depends on the store..

I'd be fairly confident that the sale price right now will be the same as Black Friday - it'll just go back up for mid-Nov, then back down again for the sale (except for a handful of overstocked otems).
Yeah I always fall into the trap of waiting for Black Friday/Boxing Day sales and it’s not a whole lot different

Young bloke in his 3rd season appears to just be a bit cooked unfortunately
There's also the element of McLaren clearly favouring Lando but I don't think you can blame his recent form on that. He's been sloppy multiple weekends in a row now.

Yeh I've given up on conversing on that board to a certain extent.
People know my take on the bedwetting and tinfoil hat wearing.
I think there is a certain element of following an Aussie in an international sport, whereby there is a constant need for the Aussie to be the underdog, or "hard done by".

No doubt the tinfoil wearers on that board blow it right out of proportion but it's pretty undeniable that they look after Lando a lot more than they do Oscar.
And of course they do, British team wants the British driver that they've nurtured from his teenage years to be the poster boy. It's natural. Oscar was always going to be second fiddle to him, I just wish they'd cut the 'we don't have a number 1 driver' bullshit when it's so blatantly obvious that they do.

Monza and Singapore (based purely on precedent set by the team, the actual incident was correctly adjudicated by the FIA) are the only ones I think you could argue this is the case.
A lot of the other stuff is just Lando getting an alternate strategy because he was behind, and it turning out to be more optimum.

Yeah for sure - I'm not blaming McLaren for Piastri's form slump. He's clearly cooked, I hope he can turn it around but I'm not sure he will.
Lando's been much better since Silverstone.
Why doesn’t he just push the accelerator harder

Silverstone is a reach. Baku, certainly. Oscar had been the better drive up to that point.

I more meant that Lando himself has improved a lot since that win at Silverstone. Baku was definitely where the cracks started to show for Oscar.
