Tripped over an over zealous opponent who had no chance of getting a pass I was about to receive and ended up landing hard on my right knee. Still waiting on the scan results but symptoms are pointing to a torn Meniscus.

How long you out for?

You are soooo not allowed to have pointy fingernails on a mixed netball court. They treat them like a breach of the Geneva Convention.

Forearm to the jaw playing m.n. is probably one of my biggest sporting injuries.

Surprisingly that and touch rugby are two of the worst sports for injuries.

Wonder if it has something to do with the mindset, you go in not thinking you'll get hurt, maybe don't warm up enough or something.

More with the lots of sudden changing of direction and the torque it puts on the body as a result.

Read somewhere that touch rugby was one of the worst sports for ACL's.

I remember playing interschool touch rugby in primary school. Also remember being sent off for shoulder charging someone.

I tore my meniscus last season. Missed three games from memory.

As you said, in time people might look at it more favourably. When I watched The Wire the first time, I didn't like season 2 that much. It's such a jump from season 1, with the dockworkers, union guys and the crime syndicates, but when I've rewatched it, it might be my favourite season.
