Such a stop and start game that they are probably just accustomed to it.

Anyway random story of watching NFL pain.

Watching a game 5 or so years ago on Channel One when it was "The All Sports channel". About 10 secs to go in the first quarter, QB throws a pass and is seemingly caught by the reciever and the clock runs out and it goes to the quarter time break. So about 5 mins of ads.

Comes back to the game and it turns out opposition coach has thrown the challenge flag for incomplete pass. So they show about 5 minutes of replays and then go to another 5 min ad break. Comes back to the game, ruling on the field is now incomplete pass which means there is 2 seconds left for quarter 1. The offence runs a play and its quarter time again. Meaning another 5 minutes of ads.

10 seconds of actual play in 20 minutes
