Loved loved loved The original Far Cry, if I hadn't of played that I might have liked 2 better. Was a major departure IMO. Played a little of 3 but hoping to really get into it again with 4.

Yeah PS4.

I've only played a small bit of Unity but it isn't bad.

Got a lot of shit about its repetitiveness, and I agree that clearing soldiers roadblocks was infuriating near the end of the game when you had to cross the whole map, but the African setting, gameplay and music were all top notch. I've passed that game at least 3 times- while FC3 was awesome fun I've never gone back to play it again.

Clearing outposts was definitely the best part of FC3... aside from the weed burning flamethrower mission... So I'm hoping those mechanics will be similar. I love letting a Tiger loose and watching the carnage.

I only completed it once but from start to finish I played for over 50hrs maybe even 100hrs. Loved exploring.

FC3 was good but the protagonist was a little bitch. FC4 I hear is a lot like FC3 and almost the same storyline.

Yeah I saw some gameplay footage today, FC4 does look very similar to FC3- mechanics seem almost the same, clearing outposts, collectibles, skinning animals. I'm not too disappointed I have to say, will be picking it up tomorrow.

I'm still playing on my 360 until I finish off a bunch of old games. Will probably get an XB1 when a game comes out that will be next gen exclusive that I desperately want (probably Arkham Knight). I rarely get games as soon as they come out unless it's a series that I really love.

Read a few reviews which said it was a bigger, better FC3, which isn't a bad thing.

I just want to run into a base with an elephant. That still looks absolutely awesome.
