Have a look at this.

Based upon the reaction time available to hitter in baseball who is facing a 90mph (150kph) fastball.

Average reaction time is about .2 seconds, best i can do is .16.

Guess i'd struggle to see a Randy Johnson fastball

What's the best you can do?

The best I got was .188. I usually got about .22

Ah yes, but to genuinely hit a fastball from Randy Johnson, you'd need to score about .1

I have been getting a lot of 0.1660's.

The best I got has been 0.0450

I just clicked straight away when I saw it. Can't do it again though.

All I heard was the noise and saw the graphic telling me what time I got.

I basically just picked a moment to click, and I got lucky.

.003 is anticipating. a sprinter with that reaction time would be false started ala Linford Christie at Atlanta.

anyway, sure the fastball might reach you quickly, but you have ample time to see the pitcher wind up so its not like the ball would be in the catchers glove before you know he's thrown it.

My best two were 0.1620 and 0.1770 - mostly i just 'got a feeling' it was coming and clicked. Smacked two homers.

I suppose baseball's got a fair bit to do with instinct.

Best was 0.0280. I didn't even hear him say 'batter up' but I know that I saw it on the screen.

Most of the time I'm getting 0.17, slowest was 0.24 when I forgot to click.

I kept getting, 'Hey sparky, I think you're jumping the gun just a tad.' I guess that must be like my constant breaking in netball.
