Does any supercoacher know how a players real price is calculated? When I say that, I mean in terms of his season average and not based on his last 3 rd scores? So obviously at this stage Goddard would be the most expensive player seeing as though he's averaged the most this year, followed by Swan, etc?

From what I've heard is that there if a finite total worth for all players, obviously as rookies get blooded their value increases quickly. This amount gets taken from the rest of the player group.

So at the start of the season the premiums are worth more (reflective of their ppg from last year, I'm too lazy to check out the $ per ppg from the start of the season) but as the season progresses their value drops even if their scoring continues at the same average.

It is again raised in the post season due to retirements and player worth being taken out of the system being replaced by cheap rookies again.

So in an answer to your question you would need to know the weekly $ per av. ppg to know their real value.

Alternatively Too Serious has a player calculator, which you can see the value of the player if they kept scoring their current average. May give you an idea if the player in question is undervalued or over.

If you mean their starting prices for next year then what you say here is correct. It's their average per round score from this year X a magic number which I think this year was $5365

Yeah it will be interesting to see what the magic number is this year, whether they will significantly alter it for the new team coming in.

DT messed with it this year and as a result the good/trade happy players could have completed teams by about round 10/11. But as injuries are setting in some of those teams are plummetting right now.

My DT plummeted from 500 and something all the way down to 3000 and something ever since I lost Barlow and ran out of trades at the same time. LOL! :p

Been playing with a dounut since then but could get Shuey back to fill the void. :D:thumbsu:

Amazingly I made top 4 in all three leagues and into the preliminary final in 2 of them. Yeah they are weak leagues but who cares as DT is the poor mans SC. I just do it for the thrill of the trade.:D:thumbsu:

Yeah I agree Supercoach is better, but I am doing a lot better in my DT than SC for the first time ever. Plus I still have more than one trade left in it my DT so I can keep up my trading fun!
