Recommeded Batman Comics

Hi All,

have always been a batman fan and have just started reading the Miller Novels Batman: Year One and The Dark Knight Returns. Can anybody recommend any other really good batman comics that are required reading.

Batman Detectives looked quite interesting from what i read up.

The Long Halloween and Dark Victory

Along with the Miller's Year One and The Dark Knight you'd have the best of the 80's and 90's well covered.

I'd strongly suggest you get into the 70's stuff. Batman In the Seventies and Batman Strange Apparitions are must have's IMO.

It's a shame 'The Joker's Five Way Revenge' wasn't included in Batman in the 70's collection . If you can find a collection with that story get it.
