Yeah champ Rugby2004 is huge jump in many ways from the original. Gameplay is alot more smoother and alot closer to reailty, the fact that so many countrys and clubs have endorsed the game means that almost every stadium,team,sponsor you would care about are on the game. To keep the competive bug going inside the creaters have placed a World league in it which means you take a club side eg Reds,Neath,Glasgow from scratch and build your team from Div3 to Div1. This style of game is difficult and you muct purchase players to be competive, Im actually up to rd 15 of 22 and with the Highlanders im sitting on top with a 12win 1loss 1 draw record.
Dipper most deffiently go out and get the game its fantastic although i cant wait for the Rugby League game to come out as well.

Thanks for that mate, it's good to hear that it's a lot better, I've got a little preview thing for it on Tiger woods 2004 & it looks pretty good so I was hoping it would play well.

I didn't know that they were doing rugby league as well (is it EA?) I would have thought that league would be a much easier game to do, the rucks & mauls must be the toughest part of union to put into a game because so many players are involved & you can't control them all.

I'm just starting to rememebr what I sucker I am for sports games, I read some bad reviews of cricket 2002 so I'm hoping that 2004 will be the ticket.

gPhonque, I've read at a few places that Pro Evo is coming to the PC, any idea whether this is true or not?

I've seen it supposedly confirmed on Xbox a few times as well, but all turned out to be duds.

I've not heard anything about a PC version, although that doesn't mean it's not heading that way........I just don't take notice when I read "PC".....

And still rumours on Xbox as far as I know.
