We need to draw attention to the fact that so many records were broken against Fremantle yesterday. Feel free to add any more!

Jack Steven and Leigh Montagna's 47 disposals each is the most (or technically equal most) disposals by any one St Kilda player. Robert Harvey previously held the record with 45 disposals.

Their combined 94 disposals is the most between two players in VFL/AFL history. Carlton's Scott Camporeale and Craig Bradley had held the record with 86, split 45/41 respectively.

The team's combined 519 disposals is also a VFL/AFL record, beating Geelong's 510 from 2011.

And, Justin Koschitzke kicked the most celebrated point by a St Kilda player since Barry Breen in 1966.

STATS!! Who doesn't love a good stat...

Jack Steven (47) & Leigh Montagna (47) are the first team-mates to have 45+ disposals in the same game. Jack Steven's 30 handballs is equal 3rd most ever, and Montagna's 34 kicks is the equal 13th. Montagna's 40 uncontested possessions is second most ever.

520 disposals in a single game of footy is an all-time record, beating Geelong's 510 against Melbourne a couple of years ago. Also St Kilda's 377 uncontested possessions is the most ever recorded.
