its a facebook group post with no quotes stating he will leave as a DFA and seeing as he won't/hasn't even be/been delisted. thats just a false story.

Redden hasn't played a game in almost 2 years.
Lowden would be in our 22 in round 1.

I'd rather we aimed higher than Lowden to be honest. Given how important that position is to us, I'd rather somebody who we know has some AFL experience, who can play ruck/forward (Lowden lucking into 3 Joe the Gooses against West Coast doesn't mean he can play ruck/forward) and is ready to go, even if it costs more. Jon Giles, Daniel Gorringe, Rhys Stanley etc, even Sam Grimley who doesn't have that AFL experience but had a better year than Lowden in the VFL.

Lowden seems like more of an insurance rookie list ruck to me than somebody who we could rely on to step into our 22 next year. I'd be more than happy for him to replace Renouf, but not for us to expect him to be best 22 and solve our second ruck/third forward problems.

Luke Lowden is a 205cm beast. He is surprisingly good below his knees for his height, isn't exactly slow and for a ruck man has reasonable agility. I think he is younger than Lobbe by a year or so, still has plenty of time to develop. If we are getting him in as a delisted free agent, i feel its a good pickup. Considering we used pick 34 on Renouf a few years ago.... Lets not forget that. :/
Would Still like a proper KPF in, but that would require a trade.

last year I would have agreed with you, but he has proven this year to be way to important to trade away. Unless we are going to get a champion player (Cameron, Selwood, Watson etc) I have no interest in trading him
