Must say, Botha has been magnificent lately with both bat and ball. Always seems to steady us if we're in a bit of strife and gets the breakthroughs with the ball. Also nice to see Ferg has found some form. Our quicks are doing tremendously well too. Things finally starting to click for SA after many, many years.

I think it'd be great to hold it at Glenelg, if you got 10-12k at the ground on the Sat/Sun the atmosphere would be electric. I do understand what you are getting at, just think it would be better to have a packed ground than 10k spread out in an arena that could fit 50k...then it'd be like a Power home game

Yeah, I'm not to fussed to be honest if the final is at Glenelg. Like you said better atmosphere, more intimate. Just funny that we host it for the first time in 18 years and the ground isn't available. Has probably been free for every shield final since 95/96!
