The pitch looked very green so no doubt it would have been difficult facing the new ball

Last year we had a weird line up with Manenti playing as a batsman and part-time spinner at No 8

Is it the way to go in Shield cricket given the green tops that keep getting served up?

Batters 7, 8, 9, 10 the ones who need to contribute runs once the ball is a bit older. Top order runs treated as a bonus. Strange times
