Now for the Shield side to bounce back.
Hopefully with McAndrew and Doggett back into the bowling line-up, they will.

Tea*Openers off to good second innings but never went on with it. Up to McSweeny and Sangha to get a reasonable score.
Still 40 behind at stumps.

A win isn’t out of the picture (it’s unlikely of course), 100 overs in a dayWith Carey and Lehman's hopefully pitching in as well.
A win is completely out of the picture, but hopefully these two can see out the day and we can build a big enough lead to escape with a draw.
Not looking like we will get anywhere 150 lead atm.Feel like 150 would be a tricky chase, not much pace in the wicket.
Good day to be a bowlerQueensland atm is 7-100 after 19 overs v the Redbacks.
.
That guy, Extras, might end up our second-highest scorer. The Jake Lehmann career resurgence continues! Would be a remarkable effort to get a 100 from the position the team was in
True to form the WA openers making it look like a pancakeGood innings by Lehmann to get 96 given the team position but in reality that pitch despite it’s appearance was not doing much at all especially compared to previous WACA pitches over the last 2 seasons. 30 odd degree day in Perth too, massive wasted opportunity with some horrible batting performances.
He’s always played that way though, problem is right now he just isn’t converting. Clearly in a form slump but he is only mid 20s, plenty of time to refine his game and put himself up for Test contention again over the next 3-4 years.McSweeny shits me, pisses around and gets to 40 balls and then gets out, that is the stage you should be starting to feel comfortable, such a waste that he does this too often.
My fear is that no matter what he does over the next few years he’ll be judged as that sort of playerHe’s always played that way though, problem is right now he just isn’t converting. Clearly in a form slump but he is only mid 20s, plenty of time to refine his game and put himself up for Test contention again over the next 3-4 years.
