He is really impressive. Looks like he'll be a very good 10+ year player, but I doubt he'll win many accolades. I think his draft year will be rated a good one, but he'll hold his own.

Definitely. Big part of the future. He'd be stupid to leave just a we're pushing for finals.
He made a few errors at the start but got himself into the game. He is a really handy player when he is up and going. He has a tendency to kick a goal as well.

Has only kicked 8 or 9 career goals.
This year he has kicked the odd goal when he has had the chance. Can agree that he isn't a noted goal kicker though.

I just put two and two together and suddenly realised that conca means 'basin' in Italian. Make of that what you will, but he's certainly important when we're flushing shit sides down the drain

Absolute quality material. Pre-injury was in our top three mids and now that Deledio has been put in defense, it isn't a long shot to call him the second most effective midfielder in our team behind Martin.
Kudos to Jackson who pulled this one out of nowhere. Most saw Conca as a teens pick but he has justified our early selection.

He is the one I'm most worried about of the blokes not yet resigned .... Hope no go home factor .... Doesn't help that both west aussie teams are decent and can sell the story of finals as well

Still remember his first season when he kicked a crazy number of behinds (think he had to wait until his second season to get his first goal).

His kicking accuracy out of a pack is amazing. Needs to get better in the open. I disagree that Conca takes his chances in front of goal. He usually goes to water and butchers it. Was so proud he finished those 2 goals off nicely. Very happy for him.

Seems like he has kicked more. But I think he has kicked quite a few behinds, I also think when he grabs a goal he often kicks a couple. I think that's the absolute strength of our midfield is that we know Martin, Grigg, Deledio and Cotchin can hick multiple goals but this year Vlastuin, Ellis and Conca are also showing they can impact the scoreboard. Add in Knights and Shed to a lesser extent and we have some real scoring power thru that midfield which very few other teams have. I'd say Sydney, Geelong and Collingwood are the only other teams with that amount of scoreboard impact mids.

Was good tonight. Some of his kicking in the first half wasn't great (someone here said it was elite but I can't be othered finding your post). But, he was better in the second half and had a good game.

Is currently the 4th or 5th midfielder that the opposition would be targeting and he is performing to that level admirably . His errant disposals have seen some very costly turnovers and he needs to continue to improve his positioning and body work at stoppages and defnesive side of his game , which you would hope will come with experience . He , Ellis and Vlaustin are and will continue to reap the benefits of having Cotchin , Lids , Martin and Foley in the side and taking the oppositions attention .
