Seems like he'll become a gun.
Hard to criticise a 1st year player but it looked like
he tried to do 2 look away hanballs in the 1st quarter that resulted in turnovers.
He needs to leave the tricks off the table for now.

Just need to build up his midfield engine and we have another damaging weapon that can run and carry.

Has played all 5 out of a possible 5 games this year so far... mostly deep in defense against mostly top 8 aspirants... being 'fast tracked' with his education but seems very capable of handling it.

He just looks like he belongs already... great pick up FJ!

in his 4th and fifth game he is easily knocking up 20+ possies, uses most effectively and handles the pill like it's a melon in his hands. i'm sure there is plenty of improvement left in him as learns more about physical side of game, one on one contests et al...that will come though...agree though, a great selection, couldn't be happier with where the kids at

Spot on R.G! Whats not to like about REECE?? Great composure, hand & foot skills, awareness, agility. Man I think it was Reece passing to Jack in the 50 over the top of a nth player. I can see why the club really wanted him and he's settled in really quick. GO TIGES

He does have a lot of Marc Murph about him with his running style and lateral movement. Looks like he is going to do a good job of adding outside pace and skill as well as decision making to the side. Couldn't be happier and looks like FJ got it right. Heppell is obviously quality but this kid fits our needs and nabbing Batchelor with our second pick essentially fills the same role that Heppell is at the bombers.

Love the way he holds his feet in a tackle, rarely gets thrown to the ground, especially for a first year. Time slows when he has the ball too.

Noticed this as well. Took a mark on the back flank and urged one of the more senior players to run passed for the overlap. By the time it happened, the moment was gone.

He is the same as Deledio, Cotchin, Martin and Newman. When he has the ball in his hands, I feel safe. You just know he will not turn it over or shank it. We don't have enough type of this player. Will be a good linking midfielder who ues the ball beautifully. Composed, skilled and smart above the shoulders..

I think Conca can be an All Australian Rover for us but geez this Heppell has fantastic composure, and great balance for his size.
