I hate to sound like a PC w***er but I think there needs to be a stop put to all these threads that have popped up lately solely devoted to bagging one club. One group of supporters whose number has increased exponentially of late seems preoccupied with this. I see some posts that are clearly verbally abusing other posters.

Stealth i agree with you on what you say. However there are also certain long time posters, who not only should know better than to keep replying to those types of threads. They also seems to get some sort of perverse enjoyment from it.

As Blueys stated before, its the off season so silly buggers are happening. With the new supporters only boards and when the new season proper (god it seems so far away) starts, then hopefully things will have calmed down a bit. And certain individuals might have grown up a bit too!

As a relatively long time member now, 9 mths I think, I know the threads you mean from the topics butt I have not entered those threads at all. By doing this I do not get offended by them and don't get dragged into a slanging match. Not that I do that even when given the chance.

In fact the majority of prejudiced, sexist, homophobic, ignorant, offensive, banal, repetitive, and down right stupid posts come from longtime REGISTERED posters.

I know that Servo. Not getting involved is a far better solution than this increasing trend towards (unpoliceable) self-censorship.
