We need to reunite the reid brothers at the Pies. The kid can take some pack parks like his brother.

I read books?.......... i actually got canned when i mentioned i wouldn't mind the pies drafting Sam, Ben wasn't tracking along as well as he is now back then. We were lucky to get Ben Reid did you know his father (Bruce) played for the doggies and fell 14 games short of the father son rule for the dogs? lucky ay!

Great young player, Ben wants to play with Sam at some stage, lets hope that its not in Sydney colours.
On another point, i reckon Sam will actually end up as a CHB like Ben, same attributes but Sam is more athletic not as good a field kick though and both are gun contested marks.
Problem is Sam is no better kick for goal than Ben is and i reckon a move back might happen.

Can't really prove this theory, but I believe clubs don't really like having more than one member of the same family at a club at the one time. WE were quite keen to separate the Roccas, the Shaws and the Clokes.

Ben has never been a poor kick on goal, it's just that stupid stutter run up he had against Carlton when he was about to play on the got told by umpires to kick it so he messed up his run up. Sam on the other hand has been wayward a lot this year.And just like his brother he is a terrible kick for goal, missed a sitter in the third quarter, really hurt his team.

agree and although I can't prove it either it does make sense as you would get factions and potential for disharmony.
Trav has played better since we let his bros go and ditto with Heater. In fact, Rhyce has improved since he left too

Is Ben a certain for the preliminary? I haven't seen anything about how bad this "groin" is.

I'm always interested when supporters say things like this because I'm really keen to understand how a club should go about doing it.
If we assume there are 3 parties to any deal and for a deal to work all three must agree, how do you get that agreement when it comes to Sam Reid?
If the proposition was reversed and Sydney said "we should reunite the Reid brothers" would we agree?
Another poster mentioned we should be looking at Gunstan From the Crows if they let him go this has some merit I think.
We should just make sure we sign B Reid as priority good KPP,s are worth their weight in gold,I know my heart sank when I learnt he was not playing and it will lift when he comes back.

Sam will be quality.
Problem is Sydney won't trade.
Would like to see Sydney swing him back. Ben had similar kicking issues early. Think Sam can turn things around as a defender to become a real weapon and great marking defender down back as Ben has.

, sure they would take plenty of grabs but imagine all the behinds they would kick!
