how he doubted if Schulz could cut it,saying was dead wood, while he was still calling games(terry) ?

Well he did.

So there.

It's true, he listed about 6 players at the time Schulz was one of them.

Said that these players just dont appear to cut it in the AFL. It was during a Richmond match he was commentating on.
no wonder schultz has been given a fair go. wallace is too stuck on his bulldog blue print and makes the tigers into a bulldog clone. the list is full of small blokes who are brushed easily too aside. schultz won a rising star nomination in 2004.

I agree Oxx.

Schultz hasn't shown much in the games I've seen him play.

Could be delisted by years end if he doesn't have a real crack.

Won't make it I dont think. I was hoping he would show something at VFL and demand a senior re-call. Has done nothing and cannot see him becoming more than an average player.

He also said that he was thought that he was older at the time.
He is only the same age as Hartigan and Foley but he is still a worry.
Very frustrating but we're not going to get anything for him at the trade table so I suspect they will persist with him for a couple more years in the hope that it clicks for him

Yep. Probably wanted to see him contribute something/anything, to get his currency up, rather than let a big guy go for nothing. He's like a depreciating Mexican peso at the moment. I'll take a handful of chilli's for him.

LMAO at comparing Richmond players to 3rd world currencies.

Ray Hall = Zimbabwe currency (whatever its called)

I reckon we should have a policy of trading players we dont want to the tasmanian league as punishment. No AFL trades for duds. Trade them to a different league altogether. Get rid of carrots. Use sticks

The 'Rayso' .
Guys like Shulz and Krak are akin to the Australian Pound or the pre Euro European currencies

Actually its called the Zimbabwean dollar.

In 2003 a Zim dollar was worth one US dollar.
In 2006 you needed 160 Zim dollars to get a US dollar.

He also quickly retracted and spun it once he became coach. Hyde was also on his list IIRC.

A 5th round pick valued as a 2nd round pick the last time he was seriously floated for trade - and history shows we couldn't afford to lose him.

Throw his close to minimum wage salary, the wins he's played a key role in and his 100% efforts for 99 games under typically difficult circumstances into the equation, he was the best value draft pick we had from his era - by a country mile.

We still don't have many players on our list anyone would give a 2nd round pick for.

Which kinda values your opinion somewhere several rungs below 3rd hand Monopoly money. :p

Kingsley= Russain Rouble in 1921

Knoble = German Mark in 1922 (I think kids made kites with their worthless money as more than 20 billion marks was equal to one dollar)

People used to walk to the bakery on the way home from work with a wheelbarrow full of notes, just for one loaf of bread. They'd throw the change on the fire when they got home to keep warm. Kinda like stocking up the pot belly oven with a whole bunch of Kingsley's.
