Grim have we beaten Queanbeyan in the games we've played them?

I feel we can win the NEAFL against the tigers but worried about coming up against Ainslie

Im guessing all finals are to be played in Canberra

We've played Queanbeyan only once this year and won 137-96 playing in Canberra. We've also only played Ainslie once and we lost that one 85-111. This game MIGHT be in Sydney, I'll ask on Facebook

See this worries me Ainslie smashed us last year was a real worry but i feel we have better control over Ainslie though i feel we will be fielding a better team this year

It's always tough in the finals anyway since they limit the number of listed players to 12, down from 18 (14 on the field at any one time) in the regular season. Some ressies players will miss out next week.

Its such a load of bull considering i think its been a fair spread in wins and losses this year across the board

Once more for the dummies if you can bear it........
Which are the "listed players" ? What other types of players are there ? Are they the "top-ups" ?

Sorry Grimlock for being so tedious. I enjoy reading your teamlists and match reports and thank you (once more) for the work you put into this forum. I hope you get picked up in the pre-season draft to be in a 2013 commentary team somewhere.

Now, having softened you up and flattered you.....what is a "listed player" ?

Yes you did beat Qbn this season Soph but it was a funny sort of game.

Your boys kicked 7 goals in the opening term and held a 42 point lead at 1/4 time. But the next 60 odd minutes was all the Tigers as the clawed there way back and got to within 2 goals during the last term only for your guys to kick the next 5 to eventually run out 41 point winners.

What I took out of it was that Sydney are fast starters and need to be controlled early but for 60 minutes or so the Tigers more than matched the Swans in all areas.

Key is maintaining it for the entire game.

Tigers deserve top spot but Swans are still favs

Game will be in Sydney due to finishing higher on the ladder. Blacktown is the venue.

First time since we joined the Canberra comp that a final has been played in Sydney, even when we've finished higher on the ladder.

Given the new format with 4 Sydney sides I reckon it has been introduced this season to keep it in line with the AFL finals structure.

I reckon Qbn should be allowed to play the 2nd Semi at Dairy Farmers but that might be my biased.

I've put it through the fu-translator

Lamb good Banfield beat Armstrong by a little although Tony wasn't embarassed. Walsh did well for a tall in tough windy conditions. Heath is a superb organiser down back and I'm whinging about the cold (it's never cold in Bris Vegas?)

You should write an app for that.

Outstanding ghosting Grim 1. As for the weather, an artic 21 was had - FV<king freezing!
The Ginger Giant Bambi was West of the academy, JESSELENKO Superstar said so after match. Well done on your workings, as I had not sighted Bambi before. Large lump that lad West is.
I will be intersted to know how the players pulled up as the ground was grantie like and JESSELENKO mentioned that the surface was the hardest the team had played on this season. Bulldog said it showed in his shin soreness once he had cooled down, he is a fine Captain and credit to himself and the club young Bulldog.
