I submitted my resignation from work yesterday with the intention of resigning at the end of May because I intend to move down to Hobart in June, initially for a period of 12 months but hopefully for a lot longer.
Late yesterday afternoon they offered me 12 months leave without pay, so I still had the option of being able to return to my job if the move to Tassie doesn't work out.
How about that? Pretty good offer, I reckon. I think I might accept it.
