30 years and never got the cardboard box, door and 4 weeks gardening leave treatment. :( It is my dream.

Maybe this one will be the time? (This one won't be the time). I am the very definition of a mindless cog

Ive been at my workplace for 13 years and unless you're up the top you wont really get a farewell/recognized.

They might have a cake at best.

Top people get a full on going away party/gifts/speeches etc

If I ever do leave though Id love to just fade out.

Not one for being in the spotlight.

On SM-G925I using BigFooty.com mobile app

If you don't mind me asking, why are you leaving?

Same situation as before?
Didn't work out as either party hoped.

Wasn't properly utilised, and the way they do things just didn't work. Their procedures were terrible and my team leader was incredibly difficult to deal with.

Fair enough, are you going back to your previous job?

Does seem like a strange career move going somewhere for less than a year.
I dont think it is. My mate changed jobs went from journalism to marketing
Didnt last a year her boss was a psycho bitch and she went back to journalism

You're building quite a reputation, and not a good one.
Not sure how you're able to make such a definitive statement?

Have left both places on great terms, and my now employer are more than happy that I am back.

I'm confused, which one are you back at now?

It's a definitive statement made with experience in the corporate environment and how short stints look on a cv. Being on good terms with them means nothing to a prospective employer looking at dates on a piece of paper. It makes you look a flight risk.

He goes back to his old employer and can leave his short time there off his resume.
Perhaps I'm confused, it sounded like he went from place X to place Y, didn't like it so went back to X, and is now back at Y. Have I misunderstood?
