well once again the victorian media have widely tipped West Coast to loose this weekend. Carlton believe this to be a very winnable game.

yup we lost to the saints 2 weeks ago and our away form has been bad but just cause carlton lost by 4 points to the 3rd last team doesn't mean that they've turned their season around.

we desperately need this win to establish ourselves in the 8 and make this season count. it will also give us a shred of respect that has been lacking in the eastern states over the last couple of years (and that has been justified during the KJ era).

this is our last shot to win in the east after richmond and the saints.

Who really cares what the Victorian media think? Hopefully if they don't respect us this will filter back to the teams we play, and then we have a better chance of an upset or even just a win.

It doesn't appear to be only the Vic media - I was looking at the West Australian web sites tips, and they are mostly tipping Carlton as well. The good thing here is that our boys certainly shouldn't be too cocky going into this weeks game.

Yep this is our last shot..carlton have been very ordinary this season and we have been alright. We wont go in cocky cause of what happened against the Saints! Im glad Im going to get to see the game cause its been televised!

Lucky you carlyp! For the second week in a row there will be no televised AFL game in Townsville on a Saturday. Instead Channel 10 are going with a blockbuster Sophia Loren movie from 1958. Can't wait.

Oh you poor poor bloke! Thats bull****! This is only our 3rd televised match this season....its amazing how Collingwood and Hawks games are televised every weekend but the Eagles only get 3 matches televised in the same amount of time and it just happens to be against 3 other big V clubs ( Tigers/ Saints/ Blues) After just reading what I wrote I have a bad feeling cause the last two games Ive seen we've lost..maybe Im jinxing the boys!! I promise u I wont watch the game now guys!

The best way to silence the critics and win some Vic media respect is to go out and flog Carlton tomorrow as they did to us last year.

If this is our last shot for a road win then all of our wins at home have been flukes. I fully expect to beat the Dockers, Dogs, Roos and maybe even the Lions on the road. We broke their winning streak, now we can break their Gabba winning streak

So there.

I think some people subconsciously think we are still as bad as last year. No offense, but really, we could go 15-7.

1 post to go for 100.

This is one of the most important games of the season for us, however, some things to our advantage are:

* Woosha's knowledge of the Carlton players
* Our embarrasment against them last year
* Players attitudes to win away

I think that if the players are switched on theres no reason why we cant win, the only concern is that Optus Oval will be a huge home ground advantage for the Blues
