Haileybury Defeated Geelong College by 80 points as I said before any team that gets within 10 goals of this team will be the second best team going around
Geelong tried hard and with the bloods down to 19 men before 1/2 time

Geelong looked like they would only get beat by 10 goals but the true might of this great team come out and rose to the top

As the bloods teamed so well and ran away with the game as champion teams do

No side will beat them they are the best

With 2 rounds to go SC and HC are assured finals spots. MGS XC and GC all have 2 losses and BGS has 3 losses with 2 easy games to play. Therefore big games are SC v GC next round. And XC v MGS next term. A SC and XC win would see 3 teams on 3 losses all battling for 4th spot. If MGS win then Xavier will have 3 losses. Anyone know how they will pick the 4th side. %? or head to head. Both hard as have not played same sides and do not think XC has played GC. Should have stuck with the old system!

Geelong College dont play scotch but only have one more game versus wesley which they will win easily taking them to 5 and 2. As Melbourne play Xavier in round 8, one of those teams will end up on 3 losses, battling it out for the fourth position

im from SA. this haileybury, how does everyone know the whole team is on scholarships? do melbourne schools have actual "football scholarships"? have this school always been strong, or is it just recently?

also what are saint kevins like this year? we have an annual exchange against them, and it be good to know some things to look out for? it seems that they arent too strong judging by their results tho.

Mate, no-one really knows for sure, they just go by what everyone else says and jump on the bandwagon. If someone out there can name every single HC guy on a scholarship, that would be good. Anyway, St.Kevs don't look too strong this year, with all teams thumping them by huge margins. What school do u go to??? They'll prob win anyways

Rostrevor College- Adelaide. We beat them quite convincingly last year (54 pts), but still be good to know if they had any standout players to be on the look out for. cheers

Nah they got no-one worth mentioning in a forum. If you beat them by 54 last year, you'll beat them by 100+ this year...good luck! Tell us how u go!:thumbsu:

Haileybury do ahve many player son scholarships. it's to the general knowledge of the APS population that they do infact purchase alot of players to their school.

In 2003? i believe they finished last, either 2003/2002. then they got a mass injection of cahs from god know's where (Some people say an old rich eprson died and lent the school money). Anyway, haileybury were the pathetic team of the APS for years up until recently when they have bought these players, and subsequently their results have got better.

To further establish my argument, all i have to do is refer to haileybury's seconds team. If they were a NATURAL, strong footballs chool, then their seconds would be very very good as they'd have depth, eg: Xavier, scotch. yet carey 2nd's defeated haileybury 2nds by over 10 goals last year, and the firsts won by 13 goals.

Some player son scholarships for haileybury are:
Jack hellier, Daniel Beckwith, David Comben, Sam Sheldon, Adam Murray (Year 13 aswell), Nick Lynch, Brad gilder, Erickson, Dean Francis, Saccuzzo, Hill, Driscoll, Collins, Andrews, Nicolopoulos...

Lats year they had 20-25 on scholarships. i dont know how many this year, but mentioend above i'd say 95% of those on scholarships.

There is no adam murray at haileybury and no year 13s u idiots, and erikson isn't on a scholarship. it's tom lynch aswell, not nick lynch...you seriously have no idea
