what he means is that the school asked him to repeat the year just to play football again or he just couldn't pass the year, but technically he is older than everyone else and if hypothetically speaking if there was a year 13 he would be in it. Yes it is a very low thing to do but then again it wouldn't suprise me if haileybury did it. I mean it's common knowledge that without scolarships the school couldnt win any sporting title
