The AFL did to heritage round many years back which was pretty good to be honest. This is just a fox footy thing, but i'd like the AFL to bring heritage round back. Ideally it should be scheduled for when the giants and suns play each other

the awesome Channel 7 Sunday double header from the early 90s

game from Bris/Syd/Perth at 2pm, news at 5pm, game from Adelaide at 5:30pm... great lead into the Sunday night movie at 8:30pm

they also had Bris/Syd at 1pm, 4pm game from Adelaide/Perth, news at 7pm.... they once even had highlights of a Melbourne game at 730pm too

Headbands instead of manbuns.
Handlebar moustaches.
Players wearing screw ins.
No 50m arc or 50m penalties.
No ball-ups unless it is wet - ball to be bounced at all times otherwise.
Every Record to have the letter system prompting blokes without records to ask...who the #$%^ is K?
All matches starting at 2pm Saturday afternoon and a Saturday night replay from 6.30pm.
The Hyde St. Band at half-time at Footscray!

I loved seeing the toilet paper carnage in the goal square after the game. Ahhh sigh, good times.

1) A huge dust up at the start of each game...compulsory in every match.
2) All commentators must include the line "hit the boundary line" at least once in their call
3) Every team wears their normal strip in every game....
4) Angus Litherland and Angus Shiels must wear long sleeves
5) Etihad stadium leaves the sprinklers on all night in the centre square before the Saints game
6) Geelong actually wear blue shorts for their home game
7) A designated player from each team must attempt a drop kick during the game
8) Goal Umpires all in white coats and hats
9) Bring back the diamond
10) No player must leave the field after scoring a goal!
