First half was poor. Dogs came out with tremendous pressure and contested footy. We were flat footed and couldnt break the lines. Had the dogs kicked truly in that first half we could have been well in trouble at half time. That 3rd quarter though was one of the best quarters I've seen the Suns play. 11 goals between Lynch, Dixon and Matera is a very good haul.

Too many good players to list. Shaw, May, Lynch, Harbrow, Dixon and Matera stood out for me. Prestia makes a few blues but does some very good things and is hard to ignore when he works so hard. Gets so much ball every week and we would miss him. A big cog in our engine room.

There were others who just did the freakish shit they normally do except Ablett. Day was worst on but I think he was injured early. Anyone know what's going on there?

As a team we started off okay then dropped off but I thought we managed to stem their momentum well. Then in the second half the Suns I know arrived. Jesus we look scary when we are switched on. Manic pressure, great contested ball, an ability to transition at lightning pace and freakish acts of talent. My only concern is our inability to keep up scoring momentum when we get a big lead. We seem to rest on our laurels a bit when we have a nice lead. That will come with experience I suspect.

Our forward line has gone from one of the worst to one of the best. An absolute pleasure to watch and geez Lynch is a monster. Imagine him in the Hawks team... would win the Coleman! Matera is fast becoming one of the best small forwards in the competition, not just from his goals but his pressure is enormous.

Shaw played his best game for the suns today. I was super impressed.

Hall doesn't do enough good things.

Credit to WB, they really fought hard in that first half.

Lemmens looked a touch off.

I love seeing Dixon on the lead.

Watching him today I noticed he has far better acceleration than I thought.

Positive: A couple intelligent commentators. Commentators who correct and know a mistake when they make one. Do not talk absolute rubbish and make things up. Can actually commentate. Love Dennis. Leigh says the odd controversial thing but I really like his insights. McAvaney a bit excitable but he is good for a laugh.

Think they said we get them again in a couple weeks.

So reliable. Sticky hands. Massive engine. Excellent ground level ability. Good set shot. He is ridiculously big. We are so lucky.

He can be forgiven for that. He is a first year player lets remember. Some of his disposals were very good.
