For those of us who got to watch the first round of the NAB cup, if it's possible, Tambling has gone backwards as a footballer. Thank f!@k he's not playing for us this year. At least with the Bock pick, we may get a decent footballer yet.

Was just thinking the same thing, I didn't think it was possible but as you say hes gone backwards, the few disposals he did have were horrible his defensive efforts were shocking.

All that talk he did after being drafted about being at a new environment new coaching staff no pressure yada yada yada and nothing seems to have changed.

I'm not sticking the boots in because IMO he's copped enough over the years. But if he was confused as a footballer to start with, imagine him now under a guy that instructs players to save and defend games instead of taking them on His skills have no hope standing up under Craigs usual game plan.

Craig though has said that he is not yet in thier best 22.

Ill wait until McMahon stitches him up in the Glenelg versus (Tamblings SANFL team) in a SANFL game before I make that call.
