Reasonably fair for all parties - Could live with that, except we end up with Richo. Substitute another KPP and it looks better.

I'm pretty sure they won't get much more - he has lots of baggage that everyone in the AFL knows about.

I'd forget about Geelong though and trade direct - Haynes & 2nd rounder for Richo would be reasonable - they get a forward to replace him (albeit a crap one) and a reasonable draft pick. We get someone who can take a contested mark, and lower team morale at the same time.

If Richmond trade him, they won't want to give him off cheap. They will expect at least a top #5 pick I reckon. Now that Brown wants to go to Richmond, there could be a three way involved.

On the Carey trade though the consensus now seems to be that the Crows got r*ped in the end - Carey, while useful (especially against us), has not had the impact required. That could bring Richmond back to more reasonable territory.

That said, if it were up to me we wouldn't off much more than a player+2nd round for Richo (which Richmond would refuse), and wouldn't want to offer Richo much more than a middle of the road salary (even better a low base + performance) which Richo probably wouldn't accept.

I may be going into some dangerous ground here, but I'm game ... and bored ... since you want to come on here and namecall, are you going to actually give your thoughts on whether you'd accept the high pick and Wirrpunda?

And incidently, next time when you choose to go on the attack, do so in context, unless of course you work for a Murdoch newspaper ... the argument put forth was that the Croad trade was poor for Freo in the long-run, and that we would take that mantle by trading for Richo, especially if we gave up Wirra and a pick.

the statement did not say Croad was a better player than Richo.

So troll off back to Punt.Rd until you can either...

a). be polite

or b). make a decent argument.

at least the Freo boys display some redeeming qualities when they post.

I did what you suggested and I got Cousins winning a brownlow and a premiership but alas no Richo in an Eagles jumper!
