In 2013 Richmond beat Carlton by 5 points and Western Bulldogs by 67. In fact the Carlton scoreline in Round 1 1966 was 100-106, 47 years later it was 101-106. Guess where Richmond finished that year? 5th. 2 points out of the finals race, higher on percentage. They won the premiership and broke their finals drought the following year in 1967.

and in 66 our wins tally would have seen us play finals in almost every other year in league history..66 was a great year with a young enthusiastic team full of lairs and older heads, playing a new brand of footy under Tom Hafey...the swinging sixties!
