Richmond's small forwards matchup problems

It's happened again, a small forward has drilled us for 5 goals in Matera and this time it was costly. Is there any chance that we could actually get a defender who could hold these small gun(?) forwards to say 1 or 2 goals???

Newman has done the job on other smalls, but if he has a bad day we have no option to replace him with.

my response is we have too many tall defenders...Gas/hall/graham....jackson would be better suited to add some mobility

jackson was switched to him later on in the game. this is certainly one big area we need to work on. hartigan should also be another option.

newman
jackson
hartigan

we need more options as newman is the only one playing regularly.

yeah but they are both retired now duncan kellaway and bond.

Brent Hartigan is the man when gets fit I reckon. Matty Whealen type would be his go. Not only does well on the small forwards but runs off as well

I liked the way Danny Frawley was telling the world how uneasy Newman is when playing FB on MMM yesterday. OK he's paid to do it, but I would be legally in strife if I left my employer and started publicly talking about the weaknesses of its staff to the general public. I'm surprised Dudley didn't feel even a moral obligation.

Heard it

He truly is the Toolmiester.

Once he remembered the call was live in TWs box he started making calls.

LMAOO@ The whole commentary team knowing he is a moron.

He even sounded like a sook when he tried to redeem himself by defending Wheadon.
