Setanta did OK. He's still learning the game, but is an amazing talent. Did some nice things, and keeping Richo to 3 goals was undoubtedly a major win. I still rate Richo in the top-5 AFL KP forwards. Having Setanta take on and beat the Gorilla opposition forwards, adds huge flexibility to our defensive structure. We can move Thronton to the HB flank, and at times push Waite to CHF. Setanta will learn a lot from playing on a player like Richo. Having a 200 cm defender with his athleticism is something very few teams have.

I agree that Setanta will be a talent, fantastic recruiting by Carlton in that aspect. In regards to Richo, all the young players in the team need to look at how he goes about his footy. He is often maligned for whinging but a player of his talent could have packed up and moved to another club at any stage of his career. He bleeds yellow and black! He just loves the club and I know it hurts him so much to see us losing. In that last quarter he took 2 really strong grabs, you could see the determination in his eyes. He should be on the front of the membership drive, he is the most passionate Richmond man at the club!

Yep, I agree. I'm a big fan of Richo. About 5-6 years ago he went through a terrible dummy-spitting phase, that almost saw him traded. But to his credit he turned it around, and has been a fantastic KP forward option ever since. Nothing wrong with a bit of passion, so long as it doesn't get out of control.

I can't beleive the crap Richo gets for being a sook, when Fevola was screaming at his teamates, umpires and trying to take out any Richmond player he saw!!!

He has the capacity to make any defender look like a complete basket case - he does this to Glass on a regular basis. A lot of Fev's outburst yesterday was out of frustration after missing several easy goals - he really hates missing set-shots.

Are you serious parrot. I would say if someone got 16 Possesions, 10 Marks and kicked 3.2 alternating between full forward and center half forward, compared to 5 kicks, I would say Sentana got a touch up. Me thinks you might be wearing the rose (or Blue) coloured glasses!
